this product did nothing for me dont waste your money its complicated no idea what they are talking about in the instructions, italso claims yo can add pix together which you cant, wat did i do with my copy. . i threw it across the room and i will never buy another product from this rip off company

Corel Pro Photo X2 Ultimate is pretty good. There are are couple of features that I am not crazy about.
The first one is the select ion tool. When I use the selection tool and paste the item as a new selection and click on the image, it promotes the image as a new layer. I hate this.
Crtrl-Y does work as expected. I expect this as a Redo. So this is a paint.
Other than that it work pretty well.
It did crash now and then when I use the digital noise removal feature.

Now for Video Studio – This product is OK at best. It was stable, but lacks much versatility that I expected from a product that I had to paid for. I could have stayed with the Movie Maker from MS. For example, I could not adjust the fading of my music. What’s up with that?
I couldn’t figure out how to make a hybrid DVD.
I admit, I did not read the manual. However, I feel I am savy enough that I can figure out the product.
My advice is to not buy the bundle but just the Photo. The video is not worth the cost.

This review applies to AVCHD editting.
I have been using ulead video for long time and decided to upgrad to “better version”. This version was called video 12 when I installed in my PC. PC was HP Pentium quad core 9300 with Window 7. The software did not have a burn button to burn AVCHD disk. I tried to install with window Vista; the AVCHD disk can be played back on PS3 or panasonic blue ray player. I have to goes back to Ulead video 11. 5 plus and everything is OK.

I received my box and found that the Corel box was already opened by someone else, I also found that the two disc were severly scratched. . and yes. . once I tried to install my laptop could not read CD’s, I called Corel and they said they couldnt help me as I did not purchase from them directly. . I was very upset and called back a second time days later. I asked for a manager and they said they could send me new discs if I could prove I purchased within 7 days with receipt, Once I scanned and sent them proof of purchase they sent me new discs and they installed and I have been using Corel for about a month. It’s a great program for the price. . However Im not sure if Amazon shipped me a used/damaged produst or not but Corel made it right and I would recomend the product. . .

Great video editing software, does everything I needed and more!
Haven’t used the photo part yet but am sure it will be of the same quality.
