Don’t waste your money on this. I am no promoter of non-Apple products, but go with Microsoft Office’s latest release. It’s much better than iWork and is compatible with the rest of the world. Although iWork claims to be compatible, I’ve sent files multiple times to other users in the correct formats and it’s just a hassle. Microsoft Office’s newest version is actually really good and works well on Apple computers and is worth the money.

Keynote ‘09 is a big improvement over ‘08, and well worth the price of the package. The other two parts, Numbers and Pages, are throwaways.

I have to admit I am an Apple Nut and love all things Apple. I’ve only used this a few times since I’m very familiar with MS Office and also have it on my iMac. But I have found iWork to be very intuitive and I think the templates are much better than what Microsoft includes in their product.

Software solved the problem of looking at PPS files received from people for which I could not view before. The software works great and there are many more functions in the iWork software package that will be very useful when I get more time to fully explore.

I just switched form Office for Mac to Iwork 09. It is getting a bit of getting used to but I am adjusting and very happy to be rid of Office products, which was the only application that ever troubled me on my mac. So far no problems with the Iwork apps.
