Once I train myself on the correct use of this program, it should prove very helpful. I am sorry to say that the ". . . only five minutes to train to use the program. . . " proposed by the company to learn the system does not apply to me. However, this does in no way diminish the usefulness of this program.

The shipping, though standard, took only 3 days to arrive. Thank you!

I was never able to get iListen to work. . Truthfully I read into it for a really long time and just gave up. The real bad guy in this is Macworld for rating this "Best in Show" which is the ONLY reason I tried this company again.

I am certain if Macspeech had a fix they would make it downloadable. I am using the headset they sent with iListen. . no way to tell if it is "approved. " Since I purchased a crossgrade I assumed it would work. .

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Is it possible to use a different manufacturer's microphone?
Would a better-quality microphone improve the software's accuracy?
Will the software "speak" computer text back to you?

Thank you in advance for replies.
(Disregard stars)

During installation of the unit, several very loud pops were heard from my speakers. They were loud enough to have blown a driver. I later learned from Sony that the unit was placed too close to the amplifier. First, no such warning appears in the instructions. Second, I have 1 meter interconnects so I couldn't move it any further than that from the amp. During listening intermitant crackles could be heard. The second problem is that the preset station device would not work, despite the efforts of 3 technicians. The unit can only be tuned manually. The sound was excellent, but the unit is going back.
