I am extremely disappointed with MS Access. About 18 years ago I used Borland’s data base program called Reflex. It was heads and shoulders
above the Microsoft product. I had thought that things were supposed
    to get better not worse.

This product is overpriced for its use. It is rarely used in the school world. This product to most is hard to use and requires better HELP programs in the software.

I’m pleased with Access ‘07. I would suggest a good manual or guide book to aid you through the various functions.

The ribbon menu does not help usability in Access 2007, frequently leaving experienced users wasting time looking for a feature that they were familiar with in 2003. Generally the design layout is clumsy, taking too much time to deliver the desired results. Unless Microsoft address the user in Access 2010, I will be looking for a more user friendly product. Office Products should increase productivity, THIS WILL NOT.

I have used Access for years. It is the best database software available for the casual user as well as for the power user. This newest version adds many new features as well as new “ease of use” enhancements.
