This has got to be the best bargain on the internet! It is a full blown program at a fraction of the original cost.

This service does what should be native to the iphone in general. Further it is very limited. For instance, you cannot move a file from your idisk to the iphones photo area so that you could mms it to someone.

I received the product only three days after ordering it off Amazon's website! Good job getting the product to me quickly and cheaper than if you buy it directly from Apple!

MobileMe was, inarguably, an insulting piece of unworkable software on its launch in 2008, and has seen only marginal improvements since. Mail is still underfeatured, slow, klugy, and is occasionay down, though now maybe 5% of the time instead of 30% as it once was.

The rest of the features are still mostly unusable.

For instance, photo gallery, I just tried to use it without success today. I did use it yesterday to upload 10 pics, but can not get anything uploaded today. Each photo just aborts right at the end of the load. Also, the photo gallery has selectable options, such as allowing uploads to your published gallery page, and I turned that feature off - I don't need pranksters uploading porn to my vacation page - but the option is still there. Here is the published gallery page that I can no longer upoad photos to through [. . . ], and that still has the active upload option that I turned off in [. . . ] settings:

[. . . ]

There is a reason they are dropping the price: it is buggy and unworkable, and what do you bet they drop the product soon?

It was sooo much better when it was . mac

I purchased MobileMe from the AT&T store at their suggestion. After trying to install it myself, I contacted the MobileMe people and could only deal with them through their "Chat". I spent over 7 hours with them trying to install the program using their free 2 months trial and not the activation code I purchased. It never synced properly and I kept getting annoying popups on my screen constantly. My system isn't complicated as I have a new computer with Windows Vista. After longer than 7 hours of frustration I finally gave up and had to uninstall iTunes, MobileMe, etc. and reinstall my iTunes. After doing this the annoying popups went away. I am resolved to sync my iPhone by hard wire with iTunes which works just fine. MobileMe is a great idea, but terribly conceived as it was impossible to install. I took the MobileMe box and documentation back to the ATL&T store for a refund; and, they refused to refund my money! I explained that I never installed this activation code; but the store said their policy was not to refund (even thought the salesman told me that I could bring back what I bought anytime within 30 days). I contacted MobileMe and they said they were prohibited of refunding money. So I am out lots of my valuable time and $108. I suggest no one buy this product unless you use a Mac; but then there is no guarantee it will work. I know it didn't work for me and I have no recourse but to warn all of you to stay away from MobileMe.
