THIS PROGRAM IS A TOTAL MESS AND WILL NOT RUN! TWO HOUR INSTALL AND THEN IT WILL NOT LOAD.
DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Just search online for reviews of this “program” and you will see. . . . IT DOES NOT WORK for 99% OF PEOPLE!!!

I am bursting with JOY! I have isolated the BUG in STUDIO Software. We need to let the FORUM world know. . . if you have a Hyperthreading CPU, Disable the HYPERTHREADING! This will require most Intel CPU users to boot to their BIOS and Disable hyperthreading! Studio software appears to Render a bit faster too!
Ring those bells from the rooftops! Now its a great piece of Software!

I have installed this application on two high-end desktop computers running Windows XP Pro. I get the same error “Studio program file has encountered a problem and needs to close. ” on both machines. Pinnacle support can only suggest reinstalling it, which I have done, with no better results.
I can’t return opened software, so I am stuck with it. Don’t make my mistake, avoid this program.

I tried to make avchd disk. The video quality is so poor. Pinnacle tech support does not have any solution for it. Bad quality of the software.

It outputs blurry video, regardless of the settings. Even if you have a high quality HD video in the first place, it outputs blurry video no matter what settings you use.
The video import feature says every video from my Canon HD camera was recorded sometime in 1980. The import feature is useless because the camera sorts them by date and this software messes up the dates.
It also has popup ads encouraging me to pay more money to upgrade the software, and advertising other products from the company that made this. Since when does software you pay for have popup ads? It also has menu options that don’t work, and if you select them then it says to pay for the upgrade version to use them. I strongly suggest you try Adobe Premiere Elements or even the latest version of Nero before buying this. I don’t know if the competing products are good, but I know this one is bad.
