The best deal around. Intuit sells this package for twice as much. even as a Quickbooks advisor, you cannot beat this price

I’m a single person S corp and I needed to get this for my CPA to help me with payroll. It took a ridiculous amount of time to set up ( My wife actually did the setup, but we quickly realized that we were in over our heads and needed outside help) then my wife and I spent 3. 5 hrs at our CPA’s office with a Quickbooks payroll specialist to get it set up. She had to call the Quckbooks help line several times. It requires multiple passwords, codes, account numbers ,etc to get quickbooks and the online portion to work esp if you want it to automatically disburse federal and state taxes to the proper agencies. To be fair to quickbooks , its not all their fault- a lot of this security mania is driven by the State and Federal agencies who are getting their cuts or your paycheck ( see eftps. gov for example).
It makes me very sad to see what has happened to our culture-we’ve been mutated into a nation of passwords, access codes, and numbers! As Mr. T would say ” I pity the fool , who thinks this process is easy”, even if you’re one man show, it’s probably wiser to accept the fact that you’ll need to blow some extra money at your accountant’s office or some Quickbooks pro specialist getting you to set this monster up, rather than doing it all yourself. There must be a good accountants’ lobby there in Washington making sure that our current system Doesn’t Change so that all of the accountants and their assistants will have guaranteed future employment and annuities just helping us deal with this overly complex system.
On the plus side, apparently once this is setup initial time, the rest of the year’s payroll is supposed to be pretty much a slam dunk( I pray tha’t true) but it still surprised me to think that my wife and I, both college graduates and postgraduates have collectively spent at least 8 hours or more pluses services of a Quickbooks professional just so that I can’t get my first payroll check.
If you get this system and try to do it yourself, I’d recommend downloading a copy of ” I’m not a number “, from Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band , also some meditation or yoga tapes to help you decompress after trying to set up this program.

i was looking forward to using the quickbooks product i ordered from some one on your web site. it arrived i loaded it and then was prompted to contact quickbooks for activation code. they informed me my product was not authorized for use and i would not be able to use it. i was instructed by your website to return i to the vendor for a refund meanwhile i still don’t have quickbooks,or my money back. i am extremely unhappy about this situation and will never recommend your site to anyone. you have lost a customer i wonder how many others out there have been let down by your less than satisfactory performance.

Quickbooks Pro 2010 is easy to install. . . easy to move my records over . . . easy to continue running the office instead of trying to ‘work things out’.
As always, Amazon is my preferred way to order anything! Everything is smooth and uncomplicated.

great price on amazon for this combo. payroll is for 1 year subscription to the service. installation was a little difficult and annoying since i upgraded from the quickbooks simple start version but i went through the same annoyances with installing simple start. i was able to figure it out in the end and migrated my old information to my new instance. pro is pretty nice but i needed a book to help get me get through proper flow/use of its functions.
